Micro-Organic Rankine Cycle combined with reverse osmosis desalination system
One of the more efficient desalination processes is the reverse osmotic process where water is pump through an osmotic membrane. ORChidea models coupled with solar panels like Cassini can supply energy to such system making it completely disconnected from the grid. Water entering the desalination is preliminarily sent to the ORC condenser where it is heated. ORChidea product family allows realizing small-scale desalination plants.
